Meals on Wheels primarily provides nutritious meals, a quick safety check and much-needed human connection to homebound seniors. “What we love is connecting one community to the larger community,” said Executive Director Deb Pacos. “It take a village to come together and make this all happen”, she continued, “It’s people using their talents and skills to brighten the day of others.”
This is the example of our friends at St. Columbans on the Lake residents making craft “bunnies” to handout to our seniors for the week of Easter. A special thanks for Bonnie Davis, the Activities Coordinator at St. Columbans on the Lake. This is what it’s all about! We can’t wait to give these out next week. We want to thank the many community members who have contributed over the years — either through their time, talents or treasurers. We have made this community OUR community.
